I really hate the Army sometimes. I know I say that alot. Usually it's because of the people above me, or because of things I feel are outdated. This time its because of my generation of "Soldiers". I say "Soldiers" because most of them don't deserve the name. I have to deal with kids who are just garbage. They complain about doing their jobs, their scared to even THINK about going out and kicking in doors. Now I understand, the Army is a huge entity. There are more jobs dealing with non-combat than ones dealing with combat. But still. Every Soldier should be able to carry a rifle, and not be afraid to use it. What i really hate though, are these fucking punks that get jobs that give them access to a lot of information, and therefore power. So some punk private thinks he's god because he can fuck up my records if I piss him off. Usually it isn't a problem. But when I call on them to be real Soldiers, to dive head first into the suck and get something done, to work hard, that's when it usually comes out. The bitching, the crying, the complaining. "I didn't join to do this", "I'm supposed to work in an office", blah blah blah. And i fucking hate them. To get anything done you have to play their little game. And I hate it. You joined the Army, act like a Soldier since you obviously can't be a real one. And what makes it all the worse, is the Army is changing to accommodate these crybabies. Makes me sick.
