out and about
after a stressful week i was so ready to crash and stuff my face and watch tv. luckily, i got a ride with an officemate of mine who also happens to be my neighbor. long story short, i bitched to her about an annoying officemate who is the same level as me but acts like he's my superior and it fucking kills me. we ended up having drinks at a bar in front of our place which is really cool and with some drinks at $28, it better fucking well be. anyway, after a few drinks, i opened up to her and told her i was gay and asked if there was any other gay guy in the office and she said no. apparently, she's a fag hag. so that was a big relief. so we drank and laughed and i met her cute, chubby boyfriend who was very nice and we just yapped for 3 hours. oh yeah, she did ask me where manila was. she thought it was in africa. sigh...
did my chores on saturday and met up with the girls in the afternoon. it was a wholesome night at first as we went bowling at the chelsea piers. pretty neat. i just stuffed my face with a chili cheese dog while the bowled some bowls. then it was off to bar hop. nothing interesting except that this asian club called "the web", smelled like shit. i don't mean to hate my own kind or anything but it really sucked. the manager was filipino and true to form, there were capiz stars hanging from the lights. tsaka.
anyway, i think i'll stay away from bars for a while since i just get bored. i don't dance and i don't drink much. i think it's musical theater for me then. dinners and a show or a movie or maybe some late night shopping.
