what to say..
im into week four of my class up here. i'm ready to come home now. 15 more days michael, just 15 more days.. But Moniqe and Walter leave on Friday, then I'm here for another week by myself. I miss my car.
Yes. My car. My plan was to sell you (sorry Sylvia), pay you off, and lease a new one. I had it all worked out. Then my step dad said no and that was that. So mom had her in the garage because the brakes were bad or something. $750 the brakes are great. I was savage. Mom read me off all the stuff the mechanic said he had to replace, and i was like "i had that stuff done less than a year ago, at a different mechanic in st johns" (mom had it in to hers, out in placentia). So she totally got ripped off.
I can't wait to come home. 15 more days. My birthday is in two days.. Yippie! I get to spend it in Quebec with a bunch of people I don't like. Great start to a new year (well new birthday year). But people are sending me cards :) That'll make me feel happy. Probably a little homesick too. Which hasn't happened yet. I miss my friends and stuff, but i'm not homesick.. I'd rather be in newfoundland, but it doesnt bother me that i'm not (except for the hating people here thing).
I went out bowling Friday night. Two co-workers came with me, got a little tipsy.. lol I'm used to bowling in my socks at the little 5 pin bowling home. Here they made me wear the ugly bowling shoes.. I asked Monique how to say 'these are the ugliest fucking shoes ive ever seen' in french. Which she did. I got up to the cash and was like 'do you speak english?', she did a little bit. So after an awkward conversation in english (hehe) she gave me the shoes, i walked away and said the thingy Monique taught me. I thought it was funny. MIZ went up and kept asking them to play Newfie music.. No one there spoke English, I didn't think they'd have the Irish Descendants on the computers playlist.. Anyway. Not being used to the big balls (hahaha) with 10 pin bowling, and having a couple of beer, and wearing the slippery shoes instead of my socks.. I kept running and going over the black line on the lane, and because the ball was so heavy, i couldn't stop running after i threw it.. once u pass the black line, that bitch is waxed.. And I fell. My ribs are purple, my legs are all bruised, my foot was swollen for like 3 days. But it was fun nonetheless.
Saturday night was low key. I picked up a half case, went to Moniques room, MIZ and Adam came over and we had a couple of drinks, some pizza, smoked a lot of cigarettes and watched Saw II. Until the dvd froze, halfway thru. Adam tried to clean it and I think did more harm than good lol. Oh, and I went shopping on Saturday as well. I LOVE SIMONS. I bought the cutest socks and underwear (again) and I bought a really awesome brown fitted pullover with a half zip and a high collar :D and a funky dress shirt. its brown with a kind of mint green pattern over it. It's not the kinda shirt I'd normally buy, but then it reminded me of the shirt I wanted at Le Chateau but never bought because it 'wasn't me', then matt pelley bought it and i was mad cause then i couldnt buy it cause he had one. It looks nothing like the shirt matt bought, but I didn't want to not buy it because it 'wasn't me', and i love it. I keep going to the mall to buy new pants tho.. I'm just too picky about pants, there's always something about them that ruins it for me. i think its mostly the fact that *everything* is straight leg. I went to Payless because I don't own enough shoes. I saw two pairs that I kind of liked, both were American Eagle sneakers, and there's some kind of buy one, get one 1/2 off sale going on, but I restrained myself. For the moment anyway. I know that if I buy anything else, I'm also going to have to buy a bigger suitcase, because I could barely fit what I brought with me here in them. Something to do this weekend I suppose.
Well, it's like 1:30am (3:00 in nl), I gotta get up at 7 (8:30 in nl) :P, so I guess I should go to bed.
Oh, and facebook is fun. I was asked to join some ridiculous group online today lol I laughed for about 5 seconds, then declined. nite
