Day 3, Week 3
So today was crazy. But good crazy. I think I talked last night about my class getting cut short by three days, which just happened so now im like three days behind schedule. Anyway, we rocked out all day and got like two days covered, so I'm feeling great. I also had an evaluation and did excellent on it, go me!
Charlene left today. I'm sad and I miss her. She stopped in and gave me a hug and told me to 'pin' her lol. Now Monique and I have our own alliance. I'd be lost without her. I've actually been getting some exercise since I've been up here. Monique and I usually walk somewhere for dinner (Charlene used to too but she left), it's been crazy hot up here lately, like 28 degrees or something the other day. Today was like 12 and felt kinda cold lol. How's newfoundland? :P
So tonight I got to know Lisa (or is it Terry?) a bit better. Monique and I were down in the restaurant in the hotel and she came in by herself, saw us and waved.. and went to go sit by herself, so we yelled at her to come sit with us. She's really cool and has turned me on to drinking draft beer (still labatts blue, or bleue), I can't find strongbow here anywhere and I haven't noticed India beer either..
Oh. I realized today that it's one week until my birthday. I'd completely forgotten it was so close. Happens with old age I guess. 23 in 7 days.. crazy. I had planned on going to Montreal for my birthday, or like the weekend before and partying and shopping a lot. But I also thought I was going to have a rental car up here.. maybe I'll get one anyway and pay for it myself. But Finger 11 is playing here on the 27th, and while I only know a few of their songs, I like the ones I know and it'd be cool to go to a concert. I also learned that Sherbrooke is bigger than St. John's, which blew my mind.

So I fell asleep last night and didnt post this. Today was a great day at work. Got a lot done, almost caught up now. After work, MEZ, Monique and I went out to dinner and then came back to my room and watched Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert. Such a good movie! And the costumes!
I deicided I want to celebrate my birthday this weekend. I'll be up here and Walter and Monique both leave next Friday, so I e-mailed everyone here about going out. We'll see. I'm going bowling tomorrow night, but I wanna go out hardcore Saturday night.
Id like to come home next weekend, I was thinking of asking mom for a ticket as part of my bday present, but itd be like $1000 for me to come home for like three days, and I don't think she's gonna go for that. If I could get a few extra days off maybe, but not for three days. and two of them would be spent travelling.
Finger 11 is playing here tomorrow night, I kinda wanted to go, I know one or two of their songs and I like them but not enough to want to go to the concert.
Anyway, I gotta end this and finally post this now.. three? day entry
