Finding good new shows on television is often a difficult task. Prequel. The mere mention of that word makes most science fiction fans cringe, and for good reason.

The Star Wars prequels were almost universally disappointing, with bad acting, and bad writing. The only interesting bits were the eye candy of both the human and special effects variety.
