I REALLY need to get our office sorted out, the one that has three desks and a worktable piled with stuff. I need to do it PROTO because a building designer friend is doing a walk through with us on Tuesday about some reno work and because even though it's not ALL my stuff it is mostly my stuff and I'm better at this when I am alone.
All week I've been doing other things that also needed doing procrastinating and planning to tackle the office today and tomorrow before my guys get home from Scout camp late tomorrow. I even factored in reading WIAD as a reward this afternoon if I was productive enough!
So, a dear friend just called to say her in laws decided to come to Austin for the weekend. Now me, I'd say great! I mopped the floors a few days ago and hey, let me get that dog hair off the chair before you sit down. But I have great in-laws. She does not. She has super-judgemental in-laws who, believe it or not, really are passive-aggressive enough to have planned this weeks ago and then just casually mentioned it this morning (IKR? I don't get it) They are also very vocal in their opinion that she should not work outside the home (honest, their son is a LOVELY person who mostly calls them on their shit.)
So, I'm making lasagna for them for dinner (and other friends are handling salad and dessert) and then I'll head over and mop floors or something. So I'll be all productive but not, you know, here.
Shabbat Shalom, baby!
