“That’s fucking stupid,” Jensen huffs, shoving the cards away from him before folding his arms over his chest.

“Now, Jenny,” Jared says with a laugh in his voice to accompany the grin on his face, “You agreed whoever lost would do the other’s bidding, sexual or otherwise.”

“I thought we were playing golf,” he hisses, squirming in his seat in anticipation.

“We did play golf,” Jared reminds him, his hands gesturing over the mess of cards Jensen made.

“Golf is played with a ball,” he states, “golf clubs, and a golf cart. Not,” he pauses, his face slightly tinted red from his embarrassment and anger, “not a cheap form of poker.”

Jared’s lips even out as he stares at Jensen, with a nod he begins to pick up the cards, placing them on top of each other before picking up the box and slipping the cards back in. “Alright,” Jared softly says, standing up and moving to sit on the couch in the house they rented.

Jensen pushes his chair out from the table and stands before his moving over to Jared. He watches for a couple seconds as Jared pulls his shoes on and stands back up. “Where are you going,” Jensen asks, his arms still folded over his chest.

“Walk,” Jared answers just as softly as he talked to Jensen at the table. “I need to clear my head.”

“Jared,” Jensen begins but stops when Jared turns to look at him with a sad smile.

“I’ll be back,” he promises the older man before stepping close to him and lightly touching his lips to Jensen’s. He pulls back, shakes his head and is out the door before Jensen can say anything else.

Jensen’s sitting on the couch, facing the door, when Jared walks back in two hours later. “You okay?” Jensen asks quietly.

Jared jumps, startled out of his thoughts by Jensen’s voice echoing out of the shadows. “Fuck, Jen,” he swears but toes his shoes off and collapses on the couch with his boyfriend. “Fucking give me a heart attack,” he says in the dark but finds his head in Jensen’s lap regardless of light.

Jensen slips his fingers in Jared’s hair, stoking the scalp softly, “I’m sorry,” he tells the taller man as he looks down at him. “You had me worried,” he confesses causing Jared to sit up on the couch.

“I didn’t realize how long I was gone,” he honestly tells Jensen. “I just needed to think.”

“Didn’t hurt yourself?” Jensen jokes, before he leans closer to Jared, moaning softly when his lips touch Jared’s.

“Despite what you tell people,” Jared laughs quietly when their lips part, “I have never actually hurt myself by thinking.”

“I’m sorry about earlier,” Jensen quickly tells Jared. He had been thinking about it since Jared left and decided it was only fair to keep the deal, “I didn’t have to play when I found out it was cards.”

“Jen,” Jared replies, looking away. He doesn’t really want to tell Jensen but he feels he needs to.

“No, Jay,” Jensen tells him as he laces his right hand with Jared’s left. “Tell me how you want me,” he huskily whispers to Jared.

“Jen,” Jared despairingly answers, pulling his hand from Jensen’s and running his fingers through his own dark hair. “I cheated,” he quickly tells the shorter man.

“What?” Jensen asks, his brows creasing together at Jared’s admission.

“I just wanted to see if you trusted me enough,” Jared quickly tells him, afraid Jensen won’t let him tell him everything. “You barely stay in the same bed as me after we fuck. So I set the deck and made sure I got the jokers most of the time.”

“You don’t think I trust you?” Jensen asks; just wanting to understand his boyfriend.

“You’re stand-offish,” Jared reasons, watching as Jensen just stares at him. “I’m sorry, okay, I’ll be your slave if you’re forgive me.”

“No,” Jensen tells him, causing tears to fill Jared’s eyes, “You won,” he whispers, moving closer to Jared until he’s in his lap. “So, how do you want me?”

“But I cheated,” Jared sputters even though his hands make their way under Jensen’s shirt to touch the soft, hot skin of Jensen’s stomach.

“And when I cheat on a game, you don’t get to say a word about it,” Jensen informs him. His hands wrap in his shirt, pulling it up and off, letting Jared look his fill, the taller man’s fingers tracing and burning on Jensen’s skin. “I’ll ask you again. How. Do. You. Want. Me.” He slowly says between kisses.

“Doesn’t matter,” Jared tells him, a grin stretching across his face once more, “I just want you.”

“You have me,” Jensen whispers against Jared’s ear, “You’ve always had me.”
