So I started my senior year of college last week. yay? All I know so far is that everything is a big blur. I contracted a sinus infection this weekend and now my brain is so clogged up I have no idea what the heck is going on in school.
I tried to get medicine yesterday but apparently Wal-Mart does not sell anything nyquil or dayquil with pseudoephdrine behind their pharmacy counter. I was going to go to my pharmacist today but I just don't have the energy. Plus I just spent $122 on two books, so I also don't have money to waste. The only reason I purchased said books from the school bookstore was because it was required that I get them by tomorrow. I meant to order them online last week so I would have it by tomorrow but as always, my procrastination got the best of me.
I have some work to do for two of my classes. I would tell you what those classes are but...I have no idea what the names of any of the courses I am taking are at this point. I don't really think anyone does. We all just call them by the professor's name. The course titles are so long they don't even fit on our schedules, everything is abbreviated with unintelligible letters.
I got fingerprinted for my FBI criminal background check yesterday. That was fun! I haven't gotten my fingerprint taken since the days of ink pads and paper. They do it electronically now. Considering this is the 21st century I should have known what was coming. I suppose I should have been more aware also, since...now that I think of it we have fingerprint punch in at work.
The nice thing about school this year though, is that I have classes with people I have known all through college. Brent is in all of my classes on Tuesday and Thursday so that rocks. PLUS, it's more comfortable those days since I don't have to sit with all girls. I basically hang out with a bunch of guys and I'm far less socially inept around men than I am with women. It never dawned on me until I hit college how girls really acted, only because I was always friends with females in high school that were very much like me--very nerdy. So college has always been a culture shock for me.
Other than being sick and going to school nothing much is going on with me. I work a lot too I guess, which is really wearing me down I have to admit. OH and the only other bummer about my life right now is that I have no time for my jdramas or twdramas. It is super sad. I did watch the last episode of sexy voice and robo this weekend (FINALLY) and I downloaded episode 10 of Why Why Love to get some Mike He action going in my life. Thankfully Why Why Love is being subbed at a rate of one per week now so it's not taking as long as in the beginning....I CAN'T WAIT LONG ANYMORE. MUST KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!! :D
Okay...I guess that is it. My head is still all clogged up...to the point of not being able to hear so well and such. I think I am going to go look for my teaching philosophy from my first semester at Kutztown. I think I have it?? Otherwise I have to write a new one tonight -_-;
