It's been a while since I posted on here.
I guess I don't like sharing every bit of my life's detail as often as I used to. But hey, every now and then, it's okay.
I started school yesterday March 31st. I'm commuting currently. Shit has definitely hit the fan with my roommate and I. In a nutshell she took advantage of my niceness and had her boyfriend live in the room (literally...he has drawers for himself and everything) for an entire 11 week term, plus some of the previous term. This was able to happen without any problems because he lives in the same building, just down the hall. So being the nice person I am, I talked to her about what I wanted to do about the situation. I made her an offer that she DEFINITELY shouldn't have refused. I said, if her and her boyfriend would move into his room(down the hall), for the last term, I would come in once a week and clean their room entirely. She refused this offer, and said it was too much of an inconvenience.
So this was when I decided I was going to move out. I told her I was doing, but until this week she didn't realize that what I was doing was requesting a roommate SWAP. Meaning she would be getting a new roommate. She threw a fit, and called me a bitch, and then just 15 minutes later, says she's going to the Building Manager, because "she didn't want to lose me." Oh... little does she know that my mind is made up and she is shit out of luck.
Karma is a bitch.
Wellllll, enough of my ramblings about my slut roommate.
I'm hoping to do much better this term. Last term my grades were really affected by my living situation, and I can't afford to pay as much as I am to do poorly in school.
Life in general has been really awesome. Tom and I are still super close, and I love the kid to death. May 1st will be our four year anniversary. It's crazy to think that we've been together that long. Time has been flying since I graduated high school.
I'm looking for research and internships for the summer. I'm actually waiting, right now, checking my e-mail like every five minutes to hear back about an awesome opportunity at Drexel. I only have this summer left, and after this I'm in school and co-op for the next three years, so I definitely have to enjoy this one. Starting right after Labor Day I move into my SINGLE dorm room as an RA, which is going to be really fun.
Things are looking up.
