So.
I'm finally catching a break, and doing nothing. I can't even describe how awesome it feels. 10 week terms are definitely hard, but are totally worth it.
I just found out this morning that I got an RA position for next year in Calhoun Hall. Which is sweet as hell, and I can't wait to start. Help freshman have a good experience, free housing and meal plan, and 150$ a month, and get a single dorm room in the process...SWEET. Overall it's saving me $11,600. So now my student loan will only be $33,000 a year. Awesome.
I also recently applied to have a paid research position at Drexel, which would be awesome as well if I get that. Only about a week more before I hear about that.
I didn't do well this term at all though. My living situation definitely took a toll on me as far as my education goes, but its okay, because I'm moving out of my room (thank god). I love my roommate to death, but I cannot live with her anymore. No way in HELL.
But things are effin great, and I can't complain about life in general, I'm happy and I'm doing what I want to do.
Exceppppt, the fact that I'm still lifeguarding and doing bullshit retail work. I just wish I could have ONE good job, instead of two crappy-ish jobs.
Oh well, everything can't be perfect.
