I rejoined the Y, because I seem to need more of an incentive to exercise than having access to Fit TV and Exercise on Demand - two pretty neat channels, but it seems that I'm more motivated to exercise if I'm paying for it. So I joined FitLinks, the computerized tracking system for weightlifting, and I've gone to the World Rhythms class, which I though would be a cardio class with some dance influenced moves. Turns out it's more of a real dance class, which is pretty fantastic. The instructor does a different routine a month, but provides different levels of variations on the same movements so we don't get bored. It's very fun!
Thursday I'm trying the kickboxing class. Yay for punching pretend things!
My dining room table is covered with band music that is in the process of being sorted. There's got to be a better method to collecting music at the end of the town band season. Meh.
Going to the AI concert tonight! I love me some Adam Lambert, but I'm excited to see them all. I hope Adam sings Mad World - other than desire, there's nothing I'm dying to see. I just think it'll be a good show. I'm more excited to see So You Think You Can Dance in October - eee!
Alright, time to sort some music, then run some errands. Meeting for town band stuff, bank, grocery store, and shopping for gym clothes if time.
It's an exciting life I lead.
