Zombies, Robots, Ninjas and Pirates, oh my!
SO the kids, these days... they like the Zombies and Robots and Ninjas and Pirates. So I was thinking about why....
Zombies and robots: obvious, humans essentially are them in so many ways.
Ninjas: faceless.
Pirates: Fanciful and so far from reality you might as well say faerie.
Interesting how the first two could be stated as a manifestation of what is happening to humanity, although embracing the reality rather than fighting it. I find such trends most prevalent in those at least a few years younger than I. Perhaps indoctrination is that strong nowadays.
The third could also easily be a manifestation of what is happening... as the numbers grow, humans seem to feel more faceless.
The fourth is interesting, as it doesn't really fit with the other three. Or does it? I suppose that could be denial of all of the above.
Dunno... just think it's weird how these 4 cults have cropped up in the past some odd years.
