So, after practically no communication with Matty since the weekend after Thanksgiving, I finally swallowed my pride (or whatever it was that kept me from contacting him), and wrote him a note on Myspace....which was the most highschool thing I've done in a long time.
But, he wrote back within about a half hour, and we have made tenative plans to hang out next weekend. I figure that if nothing else, I'll be able to count him as a friend, and that's more important to me then anything else right now.
I think that the way I handled that aftermath of my drunken weekend in Vegas was not right, and I'm happy to be given the oppertunity to change that.
