I had a blast today. I'm counting last night as today too because Alex and Brandon got lost on the way to Etown and ended up coming at like 1am. But they got here eventually and we had a blast at Campus Security getting them a parking pass and making it okay for them to stay here. The guy didn't believe Alex when he had to give his address and it ended with "Beverly Hills, California 90210". So then we got into a conversation about the tour and wizard rock and the security guy's 10-year-old daughter's Harry Potter theories.
After that, we went to keep Aidan company and hung out in her dorm until the boys started falling asleep. We had a party in the bathroom, commenting on our awesomely disgusting group showers and other fun things, then we went to sleep. They slept like rocks... I was up and making noise and turning lights on and letting alarms go off, and they didn't move at all. So I put Friends on TV and they got up right away. And we ended up watching that for a few hours until I remembered that I had colloquium and then decided not to go.
We spent most of the morning wandering around campus being dorks and embarassing ourselves for the tour diary video. It was pretty ridiculous. Alex was making friends, Brandon was saying hello to everyone and getting completely ignored, and I was just watching and laughing. Alex asked some girls to feel a pinecone he found under a tree because it was soft and all the ones back where he comes from are not. I got grass stains on my jeans. It was a blast.
Then, we all went back to my room and got Alex to play us a song. Then, we realized that Brandon was missing and used the power of music to find him and ended up finding the chords to a Harry and the Potters song. Turns out, Brandon was hiding from us and we were singing to him and stuff. Then we went back to my room and Brandon sang a bunch of Alex's songs. Alex was excited to find out that Brandon knew the words! And I sang "Snape" while Alex played because it's my favorite. Even though I forgot the second verse for some reason.
Alex wrote a song about The Moaning Myrtles and The Remus Lupins called "Why Are We So Emo?" and that was pretty hilarious. Then they had to leave, so Aidan and I bought shirts from them and we said goodbye. Only to find out that Alex had dropped his mapquest directions on the walk from my room to the parking lot. Good times.
Tonight I hope I remember that I have a tech rehearsal for the dance show and then an audition for the co-ed a capella group. Woohoo! Since I skipped my only class of the day and all, it might be good if I go to those.
