Carry on, carry on. As if nothing really matters.

I can officially say Wal-Mart SUCKS. Never work there. Don't even shop there. Now, I don't know if this applies to every WM. If you work at one thats totally awesome? Good for you. Don't transfer, I'm sure that store is few and far between.

Just for the fun of it, I'm gonna list reasons why my current job is the worst. WITH ARROWS :D

Which you can find under the cut, because it was a pretty long freaking rant post. I didn't expect it to be so long. LOL. )

UGH. Wal-Mart sounds just like how Toys R Us was for me when I worked there. SO ridiculous. Yeah, I'd say avoid any of the massive retail chains -- Toys R Us, Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart... I'd say anything that ends in 'Mart,' probably not a great place to turn in an application.

Y'know what I really loved doing when I was your age? I LOVED working in a restaurant. Yes it gets crazy and hectic, but OMG some of the best times I've had on the job have been at a restaurant. My favorite job was hostessing, because you get to dress nice and arrange the seating and flirt with the cute waiters when they're bored and have nothing else to do. I bussed tables at a really fancy restaurant for a bit, but it wasn't as fun. Hostessing rocks.

IIIII AM STEALING YOUR GLEE MEME. Because I haven't updated in forever, lol, and I feel bad. Especially since I just purchased 3 packages of add-on userpics, and somehow have to figure out how to take my current 216 up to 413. I AM INDECISIVE, OK.

And for fuck sakes, girlie, when you get home, SLEEP for crying out loud. It's not healthy to constantly have your sleep schedule all out of whack, no matter how young you are. Hell, I'm not even 26 yet and I get a massive migraine if my sleep sched gets thrown off. Do your body a favor and start getting good amounts of sleep. They say 10pm-6am are the best hours for sleep. Being well-rested also helps with metabolism and keeping your weight down, too, which I have found to be a plus.

Sorry to hear your granddad's still not doing well. Hopefully the regular doc will have some answers for you. When mine was sick and wouldn't eat or get out of bed, they ended up sending him to a care center -- not quite a nursing home, but sort of like it -- where people would spend one-on-one time with him, getting him out of bed and getting him to eat. It really helped. Granted, it didn't change the outcome of his condition, but at that time, it really helped him get back on his feet.

I may post some new Giles/Jenny fic soon (not on the RP, but just on my fic LJ) for you to read, since I've got a few smutty fics that are just collecting dust on my hard drive, lol. You've got Giles/Anya stuff waiting for you when you're ready, too. ♥

The first place I worked at was a restaurant! And while the place really went down hill when management switched, it was probably the most fun I've ever had. (Until I got fired. Because new management was a bitch and continuously texted me into work, which... y'know, is so unprofessional. And yeah, LONG story. It was the best place before though :D) I was a server/hostess, though, since we didn't really have hosting. It was also crazy dramatic in the back. It was almost like high school all over again sometimes, so for that reason I thought maybe I should try retail .. and.. I'd rather go back to dramatic than crap. I'm going to quit Walmart for sure, soon... unless they fire me. Which they totally will because I've called in like 5 times already. LOL.

I have slept! Things just got out of whack when suddenly we had to drive overnight across three different states, and I guess it took my body a few days to get back into the swing of things. Which I'm still not really into, because hotel sleeping isn't the same as sleeping in your own bed. I'll be pretty exhausted by the time we get to go back home. Hospitals wear you out and drive you slightly crazy in their own, piled with the huge amounts of driving and such.

My grandma will flat out refuse to send my granddad to anything that even resembles a nursing home. So I dunno what were going to do. He's not even got the strength to walk right now, and he just doesn't want to eat anything. But I think he'll be okay... at least for now. He's old, though. He's about 80. So theres really no telling with that age, things can change so quickly. Its kind of surreal, though... in a way that... I keep trying to imagine myself 40 years down the road trying to do for my Mom what shes been having to do for my Grandpa. And I just can't, its depressing and scary and I dont know that I would be able to see her in that state. IDK. I know its far too soon to be thinking like that, but when you're sitting in a hospital room for hours (after your phone has died and no more fanfic can be read on it) you just start thinking about everything like that. Or maybe its just me. IDK. Its still scary as hell, and... its just something I've never considered.

Kinda went off an a tangent there, didn't I? LOL. Sorry. And YAY more fics! I don't even think I watch that comm of yours. I really need to. In fact, I'm going to switch over and do that right now. I've been kind of pre-occupied on this new Giles Crackship I found ... and I refuse to admit that I almost enjoy it like... immensely. So I wont even say who it is. Because its one of those that I SWORE I would never approve of. (Its not Buffy. Buffy/Giles will NEVER happen with me.) BUT. Its a pretty long story, and its been keeping me preoccupied to read :D Plus, I have your Giles/Anya ones to read and to get caught up on Twosome. Add in wanting to finish up this one I've been working and ... yeah. I'm pretty much set for a good few more days here on fanfic.

Yeah, restaurants really *can* be like high school, LOL. But OMG I loved it.

ALRIGHT. AS LONG AS YOU'RE SLEEPING, WHY DON'T I CALM DOWN. Hehehehe.

That's a bummer that your grandma won't send him to one of those places. They're not nursing homes at all, they're more like rehabilitation centers (just not of the alcy/druggy kind). They really do wonders. And I know what you mean about putting yourself in your parents' shoes in a time like this. Hell, my mom lost her mom before she turned 26. Which is... exactly where I'm at right now. I just can't even imagine that.

This Giles Crackship... gotta admit I'm intrigued. As long as it's not Buffy or anyone from the Summers clan. ;)

Nope. Definitely not a Summer! Ever. Buuuut. Its a scoob and...
as;lfdkfineitstotallyGilesXander. Which kinda makes me feel dirty or something but.. this fic. This fic I've been reading just writes them in a way thats so perfect and I can't help it. I definitely wont be writing them myself, or shipping them myself. But reading this is SO GOOD.

Ok, whew. Was kiiinda worried it might've been Giles/Joyce or something. Ngh.

Giles/Xander is interesting. I'd never ship it or read slash-fic, but cool for you!

(I KIND OF WANT TO WRITE SOME JENNY/ANGEL STUFF. WHICH I'M SURE ONLY YOU WILL READ. Y/N?)

Noooo I dont approve of Giles/Joyce. As much as I'd rather him be Buffys father figure, not if it means him shacking up with Joyce.

And. I said the same thing about the Xander/Giles, 'til my friend linked me to this really awesome fic and said "That'll change your mind." I laughed at her. Glanced at it. Read it. And.. shes right. It did.

... OH MY GOD YOUR ICON. OMFGal;ksfja;sldkf. . ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Yes. Absolutely YES. I.. yeah. I may be the only one to read it but I'll fangirl over it enough to make it seem like theres more? PLEASE DO?

OK GOOD. Because yeah, I am not down with Giles hooking up with any of the Summers women. Just... no.

HEEEE! That icon, and 2 more Jenny/Angels (I think?) are in one of my Buffy icon batches @ flutterboxes. Can't for the life of me remember which one, but just use the buffy tag and you should find 'em. :)

AHAHAHA. OK, BUT ONLY IF THERE'S LOTS OF FANGIRLING. LOL. I don't even know what I'd write, but I kind of want to write Jenny/Angel smut for some weird reason. OR create some elaborate AU backstory where they knew each other, y'know - that way - before either of them got to Sunnydale and ended up with their respective soulmates. :D

Lots and lots of fangirlling :D Now I'm excited for it, and I also can't see how you're going to do it. But knowing you, you'll find a way. WEEEEJENNYANGELSMUTFICS :D

DUDE. I AM HAVING SUCH A HARD TIME MAKING JENNY/ANGEL WORK. Outside of Twosome canon, anyway, lol.

So, that might not be coming down the pike for awhile. Would you accept Giles/Jenny smut in the interim? I just found like five unfinished smutfics saved on my LJ, haha. Here are the topics and I'll let you pick:

1) Giles gets locked in while working late and bumps into the new computer teacher; sparks fly, and sex is eventually had.
2) Post-"I Robot": Giles wrecks one of Jenny's contraptions and she has to stay on him while waiting for him to test a search function. The power goes out, there's lots of fighting, followed by some sex.
3) Giles has a fantasy about the dollsome Ms. Calendar and realizes he just might be more attracted to her than he thought.
4) Alt-ending, "The Dark Age:" Giles gets to Jenny in time before the demon-y puddle touches her; she brings his drunk-ass home and tells him to get rest, that they'll have dinner later. The rest of their 'plan' for that weekend is then carried out.
5) Mid-G/J relationship (probably post-"Ted," pre-"Surprise"); Jenny decides to shake Giles up by performing a striptease for him.

Im starting to believe that Jenny and Angel are possibly the hardest two people to slash, and I dont know why because their chemistry is just so perfect and the idea is always RIGHT THERE. But when you sit down to form something its like "...Chemistry? WHAT CHEMISTRY? YOU CANT SLASH THESE TWO. FORBIDDEN. BAD. NO. DENIED."

... LOL. A whole list of unfinished Giles/Jenny smutfics to choose from. Umm umm... IDK. Whichever one is the easiest to finish, post and... I'll let you decide! Because I can't!

Well, see, if I write them inside the canon I created at Twosome, it works. Y'know, except for the whole... cheating on Giles part. BUT EVEN THEN IT'S KINDA IRRESISTIBLE. Which makes me feel a little guilty, lol.

But outside of my own established canon? It doesn't work. It can't. There's no plausible way of putting them together using the show's canon, unless it's AU. IT SUCKS.

And haha, alright, I shall see which one I can finish up first! :D

Maybe you could do the dream thing you were talking about. The technically its not cheating on Giles, because its a dream... and that could aid the guilty feeling? Your canon is what made Angel/Jenny possible. I never really thought of that. LOL. But you're right. You can really do it in the shows canon.

Oooh. A dream sequence as just an add-on, separate fic.

I may wait until I've got "Bloodstreams" fleshed out the rest of the way, because I'm not entirely certain I'll exclude a dream sequence from that. It may need one. ;)

I think one of my other readers kinda likes the Jenny/Angel setup too, so... here's hoping a little extra steam goes over well. *crosses fingers*
