Made in Adobe Photoshop 7.0, not translatable
Step 1:
Crop your picture and sharpen it once
Step 2:
Duplicate your base and set it to Screen 50%
Step 3:
Create a new fill layer, floodfill it with #FEFF80 and set it to Soft Light 100%
Step 4:
Create a new Selective Color Layer [Layer > Adjustments > Selective Color] and use the following settings -->
Reds
Cyan: 0
Magenta: +100
Yellow: -21
Black: 0
Yellows
Cyan: +100
Magenta: +49
Yellow: -21
Black: 0
Whites
Cyan: 0
Magenta: 0
Yellow: -100
Black: 0
Neutrals
Cyan: +100
Magenta: 0
Yellow: -27
Black: +9
Step 5:
Create a new Hue/Saturation Layer [Layer > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation] and up the saturation to +15
Step 6:
Create a new Brightness/Contrast Layer [Layer > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast] and up the brightness to +12
Step 7 (optional):
Open a texture (I used
this one by
loveicon ) and paste it on the icon. Take your Elliptical Marquee Tool, set the feather to 20px and select the part on the icon you want to be visible (lower the opacity of the texture to have a better view on your icon, don't forget to put the opacity back to 100% after you cut it!). Hit Ctrl+X to cut.
