re: thundercats: i have vivid memories of the first episode, and my sister has even more vivid memories because she rewatched the whole original series recently XD we're going to watch the original series again, sometime.

I grabbed the first two episodes and see that I absolutely had no idea they were leaving their home planet or that Lion-O started out as a little boy and grew into his leotards. I now eww at the muscle XD Had no patience with it so barely skimmed.

there, see, the first two episodes are crucial. i saw the series from the middle, too, and was shocked when i watched the first two but then IT ALL MADE SENSE especially lion-o's naivete. the muscle was fine, remember those were the years of He-Man and She-Ra and Superman and Heavy Metal - muscles were common and may even have been mandatory XD
