(no subject)
sooo...
we now have electricity and cable. that house makes me happy. i found a working toaster today at carolina thrift, which also rocks. (i also found a polaroid camera and it's pretty damn cool.)
rudy and devin got a place and i like it a lot. went w/ them today to get some furniture and move it in...i think they're going to make it really nice.
last night was fun. sigma nu reading day parties keep proving to be fun fun times. brought boca burgers to the cookout before hand and the brothers made fun of me, haha. annie came up from raleigh and it was good to see her, especially since i haven't since spring break. kevin and i went around introducing ourselves as "kevin and his girlfriend tye" (well, i was ally one time.) but it kind of didn't work when we introduced ourselves to people that i know, who knew i'm dating rudy. i'm really glad all of you guys came. and i'm still not sure why i would ever wash my hands w/ toothpaste. oh and christine (xtine, not the one who just left me for france) came, which made me happy...and so did matt and jonny, and that was great too.
this summer is going to be beautiful. and i can't wait.
forgot to add last time, but formal in savannah was a lot of fun. savannah is a gorgeous city, though it can be scary in a few parts (expecially when you get lost in them.) kids driving their mom's mini vans to prom is funny. on the way back jeff, mary, rudy and i stopped at this middle -of -nowhere diner to eat dinner. it was called lizzie's restaurant. i got up to go to the bathroom. the door was cracked and when i opened the door....there was lizzie, using the bathroom. it was kind of odd...it's one thing to not lock it...but sort of another to even leave the door open in a public place. ah! i apologized but it didn't seem to phaze her...
my sister and nathaniel will be here in a little over a week...excitedment! (i accidentally typed excited - ment....but i like it, so i'm leaving it.)
kind of sad i can't use the darkroom now, and will have to start paying to develop film. glad i'm taking photo II in the fall.
i'm totally procrastinating. i'm failing stats and our exam (that i need to do desperately well in) is tomorrow at 8am. it makes me feel better to know that i'm not alone...most everyone (in every class) is failing - the class average is a failing grade.
off to the midnight breakfast w/ lynzee (aka to procrastinate more) then studying. i've given up on trying to make posts short.
