My daughter told me Yahoo! TV has actual episodes of television shows from old as well as current ones that you can watch for free. I thought, well, cool but I wouldn’t watch any and then she told me the first episode of Terminator: The Sara Connor Chronicles was available before it premieres on TV! I was really surprised and thought, OMGOSH! I was looking forward to the show because I like the first two movies so much and even without Arnold, whom I love btw, I thought it looked good from the few previews I caught since I don't watch a lot of TV. I only watch Pushing Daisies and Heroes and some General Hospital though I hate everyone on that show except Jason, Spinelli, Epiphany, (who’s getting a storyline thank you) Diane and some of the new Interns (I wish Emily would just die already and Luke too &) but that's a whole other post.
Well, I watched it, Terminator, and I liked it - a lot! It took a bit for me to get past the dark hair Sara has, not sure why they couldn’t have lightened it a bit, but it had the perfect Terminator feel to it with decent twists I enjoyed. Lena Heady's accent is excellent and she's a good actress. Summer Glau is in it from Firefly, a show I adored, and though she was never my favorite character she’s perfect for this show. The actor playing John is good too, cute. I really didn’t like the John in the third movie. Oh, and Richard T. Jones is in it from Judging Amy, a show I occasionally enjoyed with my daughter but couldn't tell you much about except I liked the wonderfully talented Tyne Daly so much and Mr. Jones. Throw in a half naked Terminator and there's eye candy for all. So yes, go watch it if you like, it’s up until 9pm tonight, Eastern time under Yahoo TV!
