Too busy

I thought I’d try NaNoMoWri this year but honestly haven’t had the time and haven’t felt much like writing.  I do, however, think I’ll work on the story I did for NaNo a few years ago and put that up.  It’ll make me feel accomplished if nothing else.  It’s the RoLo fairy tale of sorts, more of a fantasy I suppose.  I really want to get something ( Read more... )

I agree on November being an awful month for novel writing. If you're American you've got about a four day span of Thanksgiving and family and it just doesn't work. I'm writing double the average this week just to make up for those Thanksgiving days I know I will be missing. At this point, my NaNo story has taken over my life.

What does venison taste like? I've always wanted to try that.

Venison can taste different depending upon the cut and how it’s cooked. The venison my grandparents made was tasty, little gamy something like roast beef with more of a kick to it. He was a hunter which left me open to all kinds of things and led me to love deer meat but it’s hard to explain how it tastes. The venison I had at the Golden Lamb was almost like steak but not and nary a taste of gaminess which surprised me. Had I not known it was venison I wouldn’t have even guessed. It was delicious, good enough to order again. I really had never had truffles before so was curious how they would be. I don’t know if that’s at all helpful but if you do have a chance to order some, and especially, at a nice restaurant you might want to give it a go.

Sure do miss your stories, Darlene, but I'm glad you guys had what sounds like a fabulous time.

Realm's actually been kinda quiet. More so, since those security codes in the review section showed up, and it doesn't seem like anyone with stories already up wants to update. People are just so busy with school and work.

That's nice of you, Cee and I appreciate that. Tell me, what codes are you talking about?
