It has been raining for FOUR days straight. And not just regular rain, but rain and wind (80 kmh... 49.7 mph). And the result is, of course, horizontal rain (the one that doesn't fall from up to down, but from one side to the other, because of the wind).
Some streets of Conce are flooded and there's broken umbrellas everywhere. My kitchen is flooded too, because the door to the backyard faces north, so rain filtered under it.
The students are still on strike (of course. Who would want to come back to classes with this awful weather??) and I'm still the personal slave of our VIP. Altough we've been getting along a lot better lately, she apparently understood that being a bi*ch isn't going to get her anywhere here in Chile, no matter how things worked back in her University at Spain.
We've even shared some laughs about Chilean idiosincrasy... and the other day she sent greetings to Rodri and asked how Connie was doing!! *gasps* So I've come to the conclusion that she's human after all.
And now I'm busy organizing Connie's baptism. We decided to invite only family and our closer friends... and we have a list of 51 people!!! O_O How come we have THAT MUCH family and close friends??? Anyway, it's going to be a beautiful baptism, because we're doing both the catholic and evangelic ceremonies (on separated days, of course, because we don't really know if the priest and the pastor would agree with this ecumenical system ^_^).
That would be all for now... please, make this rain stop. I'm getting seriously depressed!!! :(
