My cousin is due in two weeks, and it's going to be a girl too. The family's went kind of mental with the pink things, so there is a slight edge of panic that she'll be born and it'll be a he! *manic grin*
Also, she has got to be red haired. The rest of us are. If not, it's just not fair :D
Mental with pink things, uh? Well, that sounds strangely familiar. XDXD It's just... there's so much cute stuff for girls in stores! ^_^ My poor husband says he's now going to live "in the country of the faeries and butterflies". LOL. Here's to hoping that everything goes well with your cousin!

Sí, es bastante gracioso. Y sé muy bien a quién te ferieres!! XD Hombres... *suspiro*. ^_^ Sí, esa es la última eco, me la hicieron el martes pasado. Hasta ahora, no hay problema en que sea parto natural, porque yo soy grande también. En realidad Rodri y yo somo altos, entonces, como dijo el doc, no era muy probable que fuese una bebé pequeña. Con respecto a los 4 kilos... créeme, la más sorprendida fui yo cuando me subí a esa pesa y vi que desde el mes anterior sólo había engordado 700 gramos! Yo me siento mucho más pesada y mucho más grande, pero claro, es normal, porque esos 4 kilos están concentrados sólo en mi estómago. En todo caso, no he dejado de comer nada, en absoluto. Todo lo contrario, si supieras la cantidad de asados, cumpleaños, celebraciones, despedidas y salidas a comer que tuve el mes pasado!! Debe ser un milagro de la naturaleza... ¡no tengo otra explicación! Pero igual estoy tremendamente feliz de no haber engordado más. No cantaré victoria aún, eso sí. ¡Aún me faltan varias semanas para seguir engordando!
:) Bien!, entonces esperas a tu nena no para el 28 sino para el 15 de diciembre! Porqué habrá cambiado de fecha el doc? Seguro que nacerá antes! digamos... el 8! :) Pues a mí me pasó algo similar pero distinto, el doc me dijo nacerá para el 26 de agosto y yo estaba temblando en mi última consulta el 15... entonces me dijo que sería para el 19 de setiembre, pero ella nació, sabes, el 11. :) Por otra parte, amiga, cuánto mides? digo de estatura? :) Supongo que Rodri mide igual que tú. »Este es el segundo intento con este comentario... el anterior se perdió @__@
No es que haya cambiado de fecha. Es que las 40 semanas de gestación se cumplen en 28 de diciembre, pero el doc me dijo que la mayor parte de los bebés nacen entre la semana 38 y 39, y como Connie es más grande... Yo mido 1,70 mts. Rodri mide 2 centímetros más, pero cuando yo uso tacos me veo más alta que él. Es una ilusión óptica, así que cuando me saco los tacos Rodri me dice "enana". Jajaja!!!
Will you look at that? I had never seen such a detailed ultrasound. I mean, I guess I should've figured they do make ultrasounds when the babies are this big already, but I had always seen fetuses'... Whee, her birthday is gonna be so close to christmas! D'you know what that means? That whenever her birthday comes by, there'll be christmas deco everywhere and people will be all in the mood and everything. Cool!
YAY! That's going to be so cool for her. I'm glad to have a christmas/summer kid! ^_^ Yes, those 3D ultrasounds are pretty amazing. They are more expensive than your normal ultrasound and since Rodri and I were always freaked out by these kind of pics, we weren't willing to pay 25 mil pesos for one. But the doctor made this ultrasound for the same price that a normal one... in fact, he didn't ever asked if we wanted a 3D ultrasound. I guess he needed a more detailed view of the baby to better check if everything was OK.

I totally agree! These months really flew by. In no time I'm going to find myself with a new born baby in my arms and absolutely no idea of what to do with her!!! *panicks*
Hehe, anything can happen... who knows, maybe you'll end up sharing the same b-day! And she most certainly will be a sagitarious, according to the probably date of birth. The only sagitarious I know personally is my father in law. A charming man... and totally crazy! OMG!! XDXD
I have absolutely NO IDEA how I managed to gain only 4 kilos. It's the biggest mistery of my life right now. I eat whatever it pleases me! The only thing different in my diet is that now I eat a lot of fruit.
