When Luna wakes up that morning, she feels strange.

That part of her, the aching one she suspects all former witches and wizards have, has not been restored. She can still feel the loss of magic like it's been only a month instead of years. So that's not it.

What is it, then?

Something very different.

She stretches her arms, quiet and gently, so as not to wake the sleeping dragon beside her, and her fingers feel--

--they feel scritchy.

Her first thought then is that perhaps she ate the wrong dessert and is having a Muggle drug experience again. That does happen, after all, and she puts her fingers against the wall to balance herself as she climbs out of bed.

"That's strange too," she murmurs. The bottoms of her feet have the same scritchy feeling, and with every bit as much intuition as anything else, Luna braces a bare foot on the wall. It holds, and then she's climbing before she even understands it.

It would be rude to wake Draco up over something so silly, so she does the next best thing. She holds to the ceiling above him, watching down as he sleeps.

powers, draco
