A few weeks ago my pirate group and I performed at the Portland Rose Festival for two weekends. We had a grand old time pirating, singing shanties, marching (dancing) at the head of the Starlight Parade and all that rot.

Bravo on the putting of the religious fanatics in their place. It's wierd, but the local ren faire here has no problem with such things. Its rather astonishing to me that it goes on in Portland.

It wasn't a Ren Faire.. it was a festival.. like a normal city festival with carnival rides and such, who happened to hire pirates.
