Okay, so I randomly decided to get back on OkCupid after deleting my old account in anger one day. If you're morbidly curious what a crappy remake of my old profile looks like, go here. Yeah, that's rather uneventful, sorry. Go visit more interesting blogs, like those that belong to Brian or Saunders (I'd also suggest visiting spookyjon's, but he is simply too busy to update). I made another blog that I intended to be mostly about music, books and movies... but then I realized exactly how lazy I am. It's bad enough that I barely write in this one, I suppose.
Also, while cotton is trying to run its mudslinging campaign against other fabrics, I remain unconvinced. I absolutely adore fabrics like modal and will continue to wear them. Don't get me wrong, I like cotton just as much as the next person, but there is room in my wardrobe for other fabrics that do not pill up over time. Apparently modal comes from Beech trees. J'aime, tree tees.
In the realm of commercials, I also would like to know why the format for this commercial is the way it is.
Now, I get the whole "high school" tie-in and it's a possibility that they want to get through to the younger generation with all that artistic drawing and such. But what sort of person draws a flower and then labels it as "flower"? Is this the same kind of person who handwrites a report on the American Revolution in that silly loopy cursive at the beginning? Oh goodness.
I wish it were August.
