So Dave & Busters was awesome on Sunday!!!! I was going to post it that night, but I got too hooked on Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, which Marc helped me install on his computer. We also put SimCity 4 on here..but I haven't gotten that far yet. LOL. RCT3 is soooo much fun! But back to the fun day at D & B.
Marc's mom brought us there, I had never been at one, but turns out after Amanda and Trudy mentioned in comment and on AIM, I actually have seen one before in Providence but completely forgot about seeing it there. Go figure. Either way, it's amazing. It's a more upscale, for those of you that know FunWorld in Nashua, NH. For those of you that don't know that place, it's a very classy arcade that has amazing food there too, since they have a restaurant too. You can either just dine there in the restaurant, or you can order food in the arcade and eat it right there. They even have a bar right in the middle of all the games. It's great.
They didn't have DDR there, but they had a Pump it up machine. Yea....gave that a try..uh..yea I prefer the orginal. Skeeball rocked, and the basketball game as well. However the big highlight of the day was Marc playing this game he's good at..and yea..he wasn't kidding. It's this sliding game, and he is so good that he kept getting the bonus' aka meaning LOTS of tickets. There one coupon counts as 2 tickets.
I couldn't even believe that before we left Marc's mom gave me two $50's and said it's my pocket money. I didn't have much of a choice but to accept it, coz she really doesn't take no for an answer. But I ended up letting Marc use a lot of my token that were on the card I got there. Turns out Marc has been trying to save up to win an Xbox from there. He already had 24,000 somewhat tickets on his card. He needed 35,000 for the Xbox. Needless to say...we gave it a try to see how far we could get with what we got and the time we had.
As you can see in the pics...we got LOTS of tickets from that one game.
I was the ticket girl for the day..lmao!

the funniest thing is..the guy game at least 3 times to reload the machine. The last time he stayed in the area coz he knew he would have to come over again soon..and after a while..he did..heheh it ran out of tickets again.
The food was AMAZING there too!! Marc's mom ordered us snacks and drinks. They were always filled when we got there..just incrediable.
Later when we had finally used up our cards we went to check to see how many tickets we had. It's was about 33,800. Well we could easlily make 2,000 after a small amount of time..or so we found out, so we added another $20 to Marc's card and gave it a shot...and well...you can tell by this pic what happend...
yea..we got the Xbox.
..and we even had enough for me to get a shot glass and some nerds, plus he still has 240 left on his card. ^_^ Pretty awesome!
Came home around 10 ish, and then I got caught playing RCT3, while Marc passed out. What a kick ass day! I didn't really play that many games, but to help Marc get to his goal of finally winning that Xbox and seeing those smiles on his cute face made that day even better. ^_^
I didn't go to bed till 4am. LOL
Yesterday...orginally I was going to make sushi for everyone...and Marc's mom and I even went out and bought the remaining things we needed, when it turned out she didn't have a pot to cook the rice in. whoops. So we saved it, and ended up going to Don Pablos for dinner. mmmmmmmmmm their fajitas are good and their Toritillias are amazing. I am making Sushi though for later on in the day today. I already precooked the rice. hehehe
So yea...I swear..it's been amazing sofar here. Marc's mom is just amazing. I'm also going to start making an afgan for her starting tomorrow. I'm hoping that MAYBE I'll be fast enough to get it done before I leave, push comes to shove, I'll take it with me and finish it back in Keene so it's ready for xmas.
Him and his mom are used to reallly good food..so I hope my sushi won't suck that bad. Well I'm off to play some more RCT3 since Marc is already in bed for the night since he hasn't been feeling good all day. :-(
