The Widow and the Sea...
I've finally got around to getting back into recording, my head is feeling clearer now that alot of my work for the year is out of the way. All the filming ive been doing has been taking up all my time. But its easter break now and ive thrown myself back into this song, to try and get the final version of it finished so i can get on and finish the next couple from the first section. Also, Jenny's little brother asked if he could have a cubase version of it that he could play with, so thats given me some incentive to get a finished version done. I can never be bothered with exporting everything and tidying it all up, but i'll have to or he wont be able to run it, so thatll be good for me i think.
Feeling inspired lately, been to some really great gigs. None more so that the mars volta, which was actually out of this world. Was a bit strange being back at Manchester Uni, the venue of a particular beginning, so that had me in a funny mood. But got it out of my mind when mars volta were on, they were out of this world. Some of my faith in new and interesting music ever making it was restored that night. Once i get the new (and final) version of widow and the lighthouse finished, they'll be uploaded on a new web site. So stay tuned...
