I got the keys to my classroom! It's 7o's retro with a bright red-orange wall. The other English teacher is high maintenance and kind of , it's hard to say, ...I have a bad feeling about her. She is teaching the upper levels 10th through 12th and I have the youngsters 7th through 9th. This is okay with me because I have it on good word of a returning teacher that the younger kids are going to be a better group than the older ones. He said the older ones are going to be real jerks and not very good students. But the 9th graders are going to be better and they're a larger class. Anyway I don't care. I am happy to have my life in some kind of an order and feel able to be a really good teacher.
