# My luck keeps changing on me. The DVD player I was returning a few days ago? Well, yesterday I found out I was going to be able to pick out a new one for the same prize. I could hardly believe that things was actually going my way, even if it only involved a DVD player and nothing major. So I took the bus into town today to pick out a new shiny DVD player, but when I plugged it in and everything at home I realized that it was a little bit too loud compared to my previous DVD player. Not deafening loud and most people would probably not be bothered but sadly, I am not one of those people. Blame it on sensitive hearing or paranoia or whatever, but I'm not keeping this new Samsung DVD. I called the Samsung support line and like expected, he told me to return to the store where I "bought" it and let them try it on. Even if it doesn't make that annoying humming sound in the store, I'll be changing it for a different DVD player. Possibly an LG because my old one from 2002 still works like a charm, only catch is that it will only play R2 DVD's. So, none of my movies I bought in the States. There's always something the matter...
# On Friday morning, me and the parents are getting some well deserved R&R from home. We're driving up north to visit two of my older brothers. The oldest of the two have recently bought a house so I'm pretty curious to see how it looks. And as usual, I can hardly wait to see Killian again. Now that I'm no longer a dog owner myself, Killian has sort of become my surrogate dog. Dogs bring so much joy to your life, I don't even wanna imagine about a life without a dog by my side. Sure, kids are pretty great too, but dogs has got to be my favorite creature in the whole world. You dog owners out there know what I'm talking about. ;)
# My fan fiction deadline is slowly closing in. Ironically enough, the plot bunnies are hard at work when I'm not in front of the computer. They pretty much shut down from time to time just because I made time to sit down and write on the computer. Writer's block is such a pain when deep down, you want to continue writing until the story is finished. Especially with the upcoming 9th season of Smallville, I feel that the story needs to be done before the season premiere. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the plot bunnies will make an appearance while I'm in front of the computer.
