Cold, rainy Saturday, stuck at work while no patron is stupid enough to venture out. Oh, well, it's only until noon, and there's plenty to do here.
I need to get groceries today, and naturally, it's raining. This ALWAYS happens. I'd also like to find something to wear to the barn dance tonight. Yes, barn dance! We still do that here every once in awhile, and in this case it's for a wedding--the daughter of some long-time neighbors in the section where Dreamcoat_dad grew up and we had our farm. My only pair of jeans are not fitting properly (thank you, menopause) and I just want something pretty on top. Lots of sales right now, so I hope I hit the jackpot.
I'm feeling virtuous because I cleaned out the refridgerator and washed the empty containers before I went to work this morning. This warrants espresso, Greek yogurt and a giant perfect Granny Smith apple for breakfast. A bit pricy, but I'm deserving this morning, and I didn't feel like eating a poptart or stale Cap'n Crunch, which was about all there was at home.
