Rare post...
Saw HBP last night at midnight. Won't go into spoilers, though I'm dying to talk about it, but I can't discuss the ending. Why? BECAUSE I DIDN'T GET TO SEE IT!!! An estimated five minutes of footage was missed at the end of the film (pretty much the entire wrap-up) because of technical difficulties in the theater. It was a full-on hate-filled geek mob, I tell ya.
Oh, they got it fixed. After we waited almost 40 minutes. So we saw the CREDITS. *headdesk*
Computer is down at home--some sort of malware caused a massive mess, and I had to do a full system restore, so no internet until I can get some tech support. *sigh*

The library is up. Walls are up, trusses up, roof on. They will begin working inside very soon. My life is an endless sea of meetings--arguments, defenses, begging, weedling, cajoling, spanking if necessary, and saying "I told you so" a LOT. I'm so tired.
Really frickin' tired.

Can't wait to hear the conversation on HBP. Bottom line is, I thought it was largely brilliant, though of course I think they left some things out that they shouldn't, which I was vocal about BEFORE the movie came out. And that's all I'm gonna say until more have seen it.
