One of the advantages of living in the middle of nowhere is that there is are rural/countryside associated activities, such as a maze made out of corn and orchards full of apples and pumpkins that are within 15 minutes' drive away. I was really surprised when my mentor told me on Wednesday that he was going to be gone for the rest of the week to Texas because I'd  recalled that he'd said he was going to Texas at the end of June when he mentioned it to me when I started working again last week. It took me a few moments to realize that this is the last week in June. >.>
