Rylin and Meetings

Sep 09, 2008 05:09

Rylins birthday was Sunday, shes two now. She realized her independence exactly two years and six hours following the minute of her birth. All she wants now is her independence from her parents. Must be nice, shell have to wait another sixteen years for that! With her allergies to just about everything, cake and other birthday faire was out of the question. We settled on Lonestar Steakhouse, never was my favorite until Sunday. Theyve changed their menu or how they prepare it, everything was terrific! Rylin and the rest of us had a great time. Happy birthday Rylin!

Work last week was time-consuming and tedious. Whenever a few minute break presented itself it was quickly consumed by a project that somehow I got suckered into. Although I didnt mind the extra work, it was a great learning experience; it wouldve been nice if everything had worked better. All together, though, everything turned out for the best and Monday the final piece was complete. Although I cant take credit for it, Ill at least say that I was a driving force to getting the project completed (even if the deliverable was a day late).

Today I have back-to-back meetings from 9 to 2. Im even supposed to be in two meetings at exactly the same time. Ill make due, the first meeting shouldnt take longer than thirty minutes even though its scheduled for ninety. The rest are all an hour long and theyll probably go long. When am I supposed to use the restroom or refill my soda? Too many times Ive heard, Brian has his hands in everything, Im starting to think theyre right!
