Yay! Company! But right now, I looked on the inauguration website that tickets don't come out until January! Should we go anyway or should we wait to see if we will get to be on the lawn?

I say we should go anyway, there will be a lot to see. Plus I have never been to DC.

Okay. Problem. I've looked for rooms online. I can't find anything for those dates, not even one room, let alone two. I'd bunk with ya in double bed at Motel 6, but the hubby likes some privacy. Such a boy, let me tell ya.

I'm also checking out B&Bs in general, although I don't care for them. The waiting list at the Woodley which is the B and B we stayed at last time, is requiring we buy a 5 day package. Are you having any luck? The hubby and I don't need to stay in a King size room or anything. A standard queen is fine. Last time we were in DC, I think we were in a double bed. T

I didn't even look, but it makes sense that rooms are already booked. I may be able to stay with my friend's brother, so I can check into that.

The METRO system is amazing, so be sure to look a little further out. Arlington and the like might do okay for you, from what I remember of living there for 5 years. :)
