Tomorrow - the saddle bags! Photos to follow =D

UPD: No bags. Two reasons - one, the weather is unbelievably shitty today, it's hot and there's dust and worst of all - it's raining. And it all happens at the same time. Plus I had a really bad feeling this morning that I probably shouldn't go. I started off anyway, but didn't manage to get far before it was pouring down like the end is nigh. I didn't risk going on, with the new tires and the new bike I honestly don't even know too well, so I turned around.
Two - when I called the dealer to tell him I wasn't coming, he told me that he kinda forgot (sorry, mate), but apparently it takes more than one session (I was surprised to hear it takes more than one hour) to get it all done. First, I gotta come in so the mechanic takes the necessary measuring (?), then he - get this - custom builds the saddle frame, paints it and all the stuff, and only then I can come pick it up. Two-three days at least. All for a price, of course. Sounds all too weird if you ask me, especially considering there's another bike just like mine, with the bags and the frame and all, sitting at the dealership - by far not the first frame they gotta "build" over there. And who the hell needs a frame for the saddle bags anyway? I mean some, naturally the plastic and the metal bags do, but throw-over leather ones? Hm.
Maybe it's worth checking out the local Harley hangout store to see what they got over there.
