We had our first Thanksgiving at our home. I made a turkey and stuffing, the works. It was delicious and very much less stressful than past holidays with relatives. My extended family was very supportive of angel and I opting out of the family clampet brawl that is a holiday gathering. The weekend before Angel, Kurtis, and I all got together and attended the first Camp Millie political Training in Holland, MI. Of all places to go Holland was interesting. So much so that I am taking a Michigan history course so that I have a basis for each of the places we will go this year. The training is 50 dollars but I'm putting on a mini training Jan 7, 2006 from 1-3 we will be accepting donations but everyone is welcome to attend. We will be presenting voter registration and signature collection. There will also be food and beverages available. I'm enjoying my position with the Justice Caucus as Youth Activities coordinator. I am enjoying all the traveling and meeting so many progressives. I particularlly enjoy the deaniacs they are the most inspiring and will make the best leaders in this century. The 40+ individuals have been a great help to step down from positions and fold into the young peoples campaigns and let us carry the torch for change. The movement is amazing and infectious in its organization and message. We are only 3 seats from holding a majority over republicans in michigan congress and we have two progressive talk radio broadcasters so this race is going to be a good one. keep your eyes on the campaigns. Please contact me about camp millie if you are interested or are going to show up the 7th. I believe cass will make exceptions for you old school affirmations folks and friends. love you all and I hope life is beautiful
