So I started using a new chat program called
XFire which displays the game I'm playing and in certain situations the server I'm on so my online pals can join in. It's pretty impressive that I use it so much, because I usually never fire up a chat program. Anywho, XFire has a disappointing feature that tracks the
amount of time you play videogames. After I had XFire for a week it said I had played World of Warcraft for 70 hours that week. XFire is making me shy away from games even though it was set up for gamers.
So in my new partially wowless environment I've watched Hussle and Flow, Gunner Palace, Sin City, the 1st season of Robot Chicken, and listened to a communications book on tape. I'm also downloading Zatoichi and all the episodes of The State. Who's to say if playing non-stop wow or getting my media on is heathier. At least I feel better about myself now.
