I don't particularly like Sinead O'Connor and I can't even name one of her songs off the top of my head, but I GET this quote. Sure, part of me is like - 'hey, your image is part of your job, suck it up.' But another part of me is like 'If the world wasn't such a sexist place then maybe there would be seven or eight powerful women telling her what to wear.' I also suspect that male rock stars don't get the same type of fashion scrutiny as do women. And why the hell is that?
