I lost too much money on Monday at Poker. My mind wasn't in it. Oh well. Tuesday and Wednesday I went to Twins games. Saw the Twins spank the Yankees both times. Once with friends and once with my family. Then on Thursday I watched on TV and we almost beat them again, but Joe Nathan ended his runless inning streak and save streak. He was doing so awesome all season until then. I nearly wept openly.
Friday I went to Mari's because she was having a party. Well, I asked around and it turned out that nobody I knew was really going because they were all busy. So I decided to call her up and say I wasn't going. Well, first I felt bad because it sounded like nobody was going. But then I heard that Nick was going, and she'd be alone with him. I felt bad for her, and decided to go and protect her from Nick. I think she was grateful. Her friend Eric ended up coming too. So it was me, Nick, Eric and her. We just sat around and talked. Nothing too exciting.
Saturday I went over to Mike and Missy's with friends, and then we went to Sally's for a few drinks. Nothing too exciting. I also started my laundry at my parents. It's sad that I still go home to do that. It's cheaper.
I've been playing a lot of Metroid Prime. That game kicks all forms of ass. Sunday I finished my laundry at home, and that's about all I did. Nothing exciting today. I've been talking to Jackie like every day though. Who knows what's going to happen with that.
Thought of the Day: I've noticed that the only time I really lie or hide things from people is when I know I'm doing something I shouldn't do. More specifically, things that I know are going to end badly, but I want to do anyway. The reason I don't tell anyone else is because when it does end badly and I regret the whole thing, I'm the only person who knows. I don't want other people to see the depths of my stupidity.
