For Christmas, tweeti bought me a chain for my prized pocket watch handed down from my grandfather. To raise the funds, she had her long, beautiful hair cut off and sold to make a wig. Meanwhile, I sold the watch to buy her a beautiful set of combs made out of tortoiseshell and jewels for her lovely brown hair.

We make TOO MUCH money (By about $3,000) to qualify for the apartment. It's a tax credit property. Now we have to try for the one in Seymour, and also start looking for a backup - and we've already received an extension here through Wednesday.

Called the roadside assistance on our car insurance, so we didn't have to pay for the jump. We would have given it a jump ourselves, but the hood was frozen shut. So the tow truck comes, opens the hood, starts the car - no charge, thanks to the insurance ( Read more... )
