OK, So part of my inspiration for the new computer (other than the robotic secada noises my heatsink fans have been making) is to possibly play World of Warcraft. Here's how I measure up:
system in mind - - - - - - - - requirements
Athlon XP 3200+ (2.2 Ghz) _ _ * 800 MHz or higher CPU (Athlon XP 1500+ or higher recommended)
2 gigs of RAM _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ * 256 MB or more of RAM (512MB or more recommended)
GeForce FX5700, 256MB RAM _ _ * 32 MB 3D graphics card with hardware transform and lighting, such as GeForce 2 or better (5700 or better recommended)
Stupidly big (200gig) HDD _ _ * 4 GB or more of available hard drive space
Downloadable, free software _ * DirectX® 9.0c or above
Cable modem and 100Mbps LAN _ * A 56k or higher modem with an Internet connection (Cable modem recommended)
Looks like I'm in real good shape to play the game.
Oh yeah, and cedega may have support in the new release next week. :-D
