Merlin Tarot
Hello drawmelot! I was just thinking to myself and talking with some friends, and we somehow got onto the subject of Tarot and I thought, "Well wouldn't it be cool if we could have a Merlin tarot deck?"
But I was like "Well I surely can't draw all of them by myself, as awesome as that would be!" And then the second thought struck me: why not make it into a community project? Then everyone can join in the fun.
I'm not sure if everyone will be as keen on this idea as I am, but I think it would be a cool community thing to do, considering most of us are just uploading individually with no regard for anyone else whatsoever (haha, that's me...)
So basically the idea is to do the major arcana, Merlin-themed.
So I have some sketchy ideas planned out, as I really don't want to have too many repeats.

2. The High Priestess - Morgana
3. The Empress - Gwen
4. The Emperor - Arthur
5. The Hierophant - Gaius
6. The Lovers - Gwen+Lancelot
7. The Chariot - Knights of Camelot
8. Justice - Geoffrey of Monmouth
9. The Hermit - The Dragon
10. Wheel of Fortune - Isle of the Blessed+Chalice (/ Creatures?)
11. Strength - Hunith
12. The Hanged Man - Lancelot
13. Death - Questing Beast
14. Temperance - Ahora+Unicorn+Cups
15. The Devil - Uther
16. The Tower - Nimueh's Death
17. The Star - Lake+Excalibur(+Lady?)
18. The Moon - Mordred
19. The Sun - Camelot+Arthur and Merlin
20. Judgment - Avalon
21. The World - Tree(+Merlin)
Suggestions are very welcome! One of the reasons I posted this to a comm was to get some insight. Especially for suggestions for more monsters/characters that fit - ideally we'd have one assigned to each card though repeats are highly likely - either way I'd like to keep them to a minimum.
THE RULES(?)
I am quite willing to believe that this idea might fade into obscurity, but if enough people are interested I will probably be taking sign-ups, which will likely be required to include a list of a couple of the cards you would like to do, and a sample of your work (will NOT be on a first-come-first-serve basis). There will likely be a universal size and dimension format, and photomanips will not be allowed :C

I'll probably be updating this post as we go along. It's very tentative so far, I'd just like to know if anyone is interested in the first place! Also, feel free to correct me if I've made any tarot-related mistakes, I just want to draw pretty pictures. AND ALSO PIMPING. I love pimping. If you like the idea please pimp.
