I love weddings. I really do. I love the traditions, the silliness, the love and overall joy of the day. I love the beautiful dresses and the champagne toasts and the chicken dance and the conga lines and the electric slide and the throwing of the bouquet. I love all of it from the beautiful to the silly to the down right tacky.
I have since wondered how can I consistantly be a part of such wonderful craziness? There is wedding planning to be sure but I dont want to worry about all that stuff. And I would probably do it if I didn't want to act or teach.
So I have come to a brilliant conclusion that made me wonder why the hell I havent thought about it before:
I am going to become and ordained minister. Interfaith of course. As a side job. Ill perform every type of ceremony out there. No matter how insane. Okay there are some things...like if you want to marry your goldfish I dont think I can oblige you....
Officients make a pretty decent dollar and I'll get to be apart of something beautiful. It sounds like an amazing job to me...and who knows, maybe ill get a slice of wedding cake as well to go along with it.
Anyways there you go. ^__^
