Syncronicity
I love it. It's been awhile since I've been in a town long enough to accumulate the local knowlege as well as who knows what else that causes random things start happening to me. Atlanta, well.. I had 13yrs and then 5 yrs to get around. But since I moved, I've not had nearly as much as I remember. I didn't realize how much I missed it. I'll list the examples in the last week.
In the span of a week, I've seen the same business card from two different sources. It's a fancy card, but I don't even know the guy and yet I've run into his card twice now. One was last week while having dinner with some movie folks (Note as Movie Folks #1). The other was at a game night this evening in a local pub. The card was in the box of the game we were playing.
While going to a Flash Mob meeting (more on that later) in a local park, I run into a guy I worked on a movie with (Movie Folks #2). Cool enough. Then, while waiting for the group to show up, I run into someone I work with. I don't really know the guy, but we recognized each other and chatted for awhile. The park is across town from work.
Went to a pub this evening to play some board games. Some guy I met through abulafia24 like 5 years ago walks in and we recognize each other. Then a completely different person from the movie I worked on wanders up and chats (Movie Folks #3).
So maybe it's followup from being slightly introduced into the movie scene here in town, seeing as 3 different folks from the same movie were involved. But I can't see it as being entirely that. Still, I'm not complaining. I can't wait to see what happens in the next week.
