Character: Mirka Fortuna
Series: Trinity Blood (manga)
Character Age: At least a century, probably closer to two or three, but looks around the same age as her teenaged grandson.
Canon: Trinity Blood is about discrimination, nuns, politics, priests, vampires, priests versus vampires, conspiracies to destroy the world, and many more kid-friendly topics! But really, what it all comes down to is the story of Abel Nightroad's failure at life. Somewhere in the middle of this failure, Abel is sent to the mysterious Empire of pretty and possibly inbred vampires as an ambassador for the humans. He also fails at this, but it's not all his fault this time. No one was expecting a massive murder spree/coup/revolution to begin when he and his party arrived, after all...except two people, who skillfully manipulated everyone else to get the results they wanted. Those two people were the Empress, and her most trusted advisor and partner in crime, Duchess Mirka Fortuna.
As befits a powerful noble and politician, Mirka is extremely cunning, wise, crafty, ruthless, and above all, subtle. In fact, she's so subtle that no one in the Empire, not even her grandson, suspects all the string-pulling she does in the background. That's probably because she hides it well with her eccentric personality and actions. Excessively cheerful and friendly, Mirka tildes and heartmarks almost constantly as she teases the people around her. She's so notorious for her rather sadistic way of showing affection that despite her looking and acting like a harmless little girl, even the big, burly men of the elite Palace Guard are completely terrified of her. They break into a cold sweat at the idea of working with her because they know that's code for "being her errand bitch" and playing all kinds of games for her amusement.

Don't worry, this time I made sure the tea leaves weren't from any of the special plants, so you can rest assured that there will be no crawling in your stomach or your skin. ♥ It would be a different story if you were a zombie, but I don't think that's a conversation we should be having over tea, don't you? It would be very impolite, after all. Oh yes, after the last incident, I asked some of your companions to move the table away from the more daring trees, so there won't be any interruptions of that sort either...unless you like that kind of thing, of course. I won't tell if you do~. Oh, to be young again and so bold, so adventurous! --ah, you're blushing. How adorable!
Anyway, I was somewhat surprised to find myself in the middle of a swamp while I was having my afternoon tea. When I found out about all the possible dangers here, I was even a little scared! What could a delicate young flower like me do, all by myself? But then I found you, mister manly Gorilla and friends, so it's all right now. I'm so happy you'll be helping me out as long as I'm here~ ...hm? Don't be silly, of course you and your fellow gorillas will keep wearing the maid uniforms. The pink complements your fur nicely, and the frills and ribbons are just so cute! Besides, I think having matching outfits improves morale and feelings of teamwork, don't you~? Yes, I'm so glad you all agree! Don't nod too energetically, though, or your caps will fall off, and we certainly don't want that. ♥
Now then, if we're all done with our tea, I think we should do something fun! How about a group activity so we can get to know each other even better? I know just the game for us to play, too: Hide and Seek! It's simple, but I'm sure we'll all have lots of fun playing together. I'll be It first while all of you hide, and then I'll look for you after counting to one hundred. How's that?
But first, we need to decide on the stakes, don't we~? Don't look so worried, it won't be anything too bad. ♥ The winner will be whoever I find last, of course! And as for the losers, let's see...I know! After this, the losers will get to play another game with me--
