“I don’t want to hide anymore,” she said determined.
“It’s too risky, Hermione. Maybe when the school is over-“
“No. I don’t want it to be like this.”
He bit his lips. Draco thought they were only going to have a peaceful night at his bedroom, but she seemed determined to unravel their secret to the rest of the school. It didn’t know if he was ready to that. She didn’t know what he had to face.
“Can I at least think?” he asked her with butterfly kisses.
“Yes.” She smiled with his tenderness.
He cupped her cheek and stared into her eyes, deep down to see if he could reach her soul. Maybe deep down her was just testing him. He hated that.
But he couldn’t get angry at her when those chocolate eyes looked back at him. Her smile could reach her eyes without a problem when she was with him. He removed the hair from her face and watched her sighing. It was so pleasurable to see her so fragile, with her emotions so naked. So his.
Maybe, if he tried hard enough, he could overcome her desire. Maybe she would give up on the idea. It was the best for both.
And the best for him right now was to kiss her passionately. Trying to compose the kiss with all that he was feeling. He held her tight with his arms, choosing to never let her go.
However, a small tear escaped her eye. He knew everything was lost. Because he could never give her everything she wanted. Everything she deserved.
