Title: Her Geekboy
Prompt Number/Prompt: 007/Computrer
Character/Fandom: Lulu Spencer/General Hospital
Word Count: ~340
Rating: G
Warning(s): None
Summary: Lulu thinks about home and what she misses most.

He was the geekiest boy Lulu had ever met. With his black hoodie, black jeans and floppy hair, he would never be something she would be interested in. She hated the way he talked, making references to Lord of the Rings and other ‘geeky’ things she didn’t understand. Lulu was all about causing trouble, not ‘finding the force’.

It upset her when Jason and Carly forced her to baby-sit the dweeb. She wasn’t a baby-sitter and knew she was better suited at helping on the outside. None of them had listened and Lulu was stuck with him, and having to listen to his endless rambling.

She promised herself she would never be around him again. It seemed fate had other plans.

It seemed every time she turned around, he was there with his laptop. Slowly, Lulu accepted the fact she was never going to get rid of him. So she embraced having him as a friend, even if he annoyed her and had a crush on her. It didn’t matter. She didn’t return the feelings. Lulu thought she was better suited for Dillon or Sonny’s new bodyguard.

Yet, when she needed someone, he was there. He took the time to hack into hospital and police files for her, hoping they could find clues to what really happened to her mother. No one else was willing to help her; he was the only one who cared.

And it became obvious when he showed up at the Metro Court during the hostage situation. He was there to save her, even if he’d never fired a gun before and had no idea what to do. He wasn’t a charming hero but he was her hero, nonetheless.

And, she misses him. She misses hearing him have lengthy conversations with his laptop. She misses the lengths he always went through to make her laugh. She misses being called ‘the blonde one’.

Out of all the things about Port Charles, she misses Spinelli the most.
