"You want me to do what? Talk about myself? To a bunch of people I've never even met? Hell, I don't even like talking about myself to people who I see on a regular basis! Who decided this was a requirement anyway

*shakes head* Dear Lord, not a female House. I have a hard enough time dealing with one of him.
I'm Dr. Eric Foreman. I'm a doctor at Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. Being on the Board of Directors at another hospital, you might have heard of it?
She snorted. "Who is House?" Then, she grinned. "I'm sure I can handle him."
There was a pause for a moment, as she considered the rest of what he said. "I actually have heard of Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, and you do all right, I guess." It was as close to a compliment as he could expect to get from her.
You know, the point of shutting off your emotions is to make people think you don't have any. Admitting it kind of spoils the illusion, in fact it sounds like you're scared to feel because you can't control or torment them; they torment you.
Not that I haven't been there, but I try to maintain some...civility.
Dr Foreman is right, you are the female House, even though I only met him briefly.
Jordan rolled her eyes as the woman spoke. "Now, is this the part where I wipe a tear away and sadly admit that you're right? That deep inside I'm a scared little girl who just wants to be loved? Well, that's cute, but it's wrong. Besides, how do you know House isn't the male version of me?"
Oh no, you're far too much in denial to do anything of the sort. I think that will only happen when your life comes crashing down around your ears and you haven't orchestrated the whole thing.
I don't, but I met him first so by default you remind me of him, not vice versa.
"Wow, that's cute. Were you a psych major in college? You sure think you know a lot about how I think, when in reality you know nothing. Are you done? Oh wait, that would require I care whether you are or not."
"Well, thank you sweetie. It's good to be the best at something." Typical Jordan, she chose to focus on what she thought was a compliment, rather than the veiled insult it was.
Good. I don't want people to like me. When they do, I have to tell them how much I hate them and then I have to put up with their whining. Keep that attitude and you'll be just fine here.
"I don't need a gold star, thanks. If you come close enough to me to try to give me one, you'll find that cane someplace you really don't want it to be."

Yes, I am Doctor House. No, I do not have a type, and even if I did, you would most certainly not be it.
Got it? Good, glad we had this talk.

*mock-confused look, which then clears*
Oooh, you mean because of the cane. Clever. And unoriginal, but hey. You get a gold star for effort.
