Everything's Magical When It Snows
All right, let's see what's going on in Kari-land.
So I spent a good part of the weekend hanging with J, studying, watching Gilmore Girls, playing Sims, just... erg... chilling... ;)

I'm back from vacation (although technically it wasn't vacation coz I had to work... anyway). So I get home and what's waiting fr me in the mail? a one moth delayed christmas card from you!!! Yay, you totally made my day (and that's something, coz the day before I had just begun to fully comprehend how much I suck (little hint: A LOT!!!)).
So thank you a lot for that, I really hadn't expected you to send me a card and yes, I do feel bad for not writing to you... How would you feel about an easter-card? Seeing how mail takes ages from the states to Germany and probably the other way round as well, I should send it now...
Anyway, so I caught up with what's been going on in your life and I have a couple of yays for you. here's what they're for:
- the great Luke/Lorelai nymphomania of 2007 (what better way to start a year? can't think of a one)
- Florida, you have no idea how much I'm craving some sun and warmth and everything that isn't winter right now
(btw: the story of how your mom apologized by saying "when you work as a doctor..." reminded me of me and my mom. don't you also sometimes get fed up with her not saying something straight forward? I mean, it drives me absolutely insane that my mom always has to criticize things in an ambigual, indirect way, I hate that! /rant)
- your new fic!!!! MAJOR YAY, GIGANTIC YAY, MOTHER OF ALL YAYS. and I know I haven't reviewed yet, but first of all notice the 'yet' please, and second: I'll get to that.
- and last but definetely not least: J. UBER-Yay for that, I hope it works out. I can absolutely relate to how you're feeling with the 'is it really right, I'm not head over heels and don't even get me started on the commitment phobia'. anyway, I think that taking it slow, one day at a time is the exact right strategy. hang in there, I'm sure it'll pay off.
Hope this major comment made up for the lack of attention on my side over the last couple of weeks and thanks again for the card!

I was wondering where you'd gotten to. I figured you must have gone out of town because it had been so long since I heard from you. I'm glad you got your card though, it was so troublesome trying to figure out how to send cards out of the country. And I'm glad it made your day, that makes my day to know that :D
Don't feel bad for not writing. I'm just glad you got the card.
Haha, yes the L/L nymphomania has been a great beginning to the year. (If only that happened on the show...) But they've got to stop, unless they're planning to repopulate the world on their own.
Yeah I hate when my mom criticizes me like that and then apologizes but really doesn't apologize and just thinks that everything's okay. Thus why I'm happy not to live with her anymore. I miss FL though, it's cold here now :(
I'm so glad that you're excited about my new fic. There's been such positive response to my fic that it just makes me want to write more and more!
Right, taking it slow with J seems to be working so far so I'm going to stick with that.
