"Not a bad day..."

Feb 26, 2007 19:42

Things have been going pretty well lately, which is a nice change from last semester. I've been busy, but with fun things:

I was gone all Saturday for the GphiB retreat. It was nice to lounge around with 60 lovely girls all day, doing crafts, eating in front of a giant TV, and bonding. I got my little, but since she doesn't know who I am yet, I'll play it safe and not mention her name. I will say that she is amazing, and I'm hoping I can plan an equally amazing Big/Little week for her. I've already bought some gifts and am on my way to being broke once I pay my dues, but I think it will be worth it.

Some other interesting tid-bits: I iChated with Nick Sackos for the duration of the Oscars (including E!'s two-hour preshow) last night...that is about 6 hours of wonderful Amanda/Nick zingers about celebrities. I'll post some highlights behind the cut.

They are filming a movie called "21" staring Kevin Spacey and Kate Bosworth down the street from my dorm this week. I saw them filming some extras, and one of my suite-mates saw Kevin Spacey, who apparently seemed really nice and waved to her. Pretty cool if you ask me.

I'm going to be playing on the "Bay State" (my campus TV show) softball team. Hopefully, we won't get killed too badly...I think we are planning on being drunk for most of the games, so we'll see how that goes.

I now have a show to watch every day of the week except for Friday...this has become serious slash seriously scary. Oh well...you should all watch "Friday Night Lights." Seriously. It's amazing. Ridiculously amazing.

And lastly in exactly two weeks, I will hopefully be lying on a beach next to Kelly and Nick Sackos with a stomach full of In'N'Out Burger in San Diego. Spring Break is going to be fabulous! I cannot wait :)

Me: jennifer hudson has on this really pretty dress, but with this tiny metallic jacket over it...quite upsetting
